How We Can Help You

Food Safety and Process Technology has more than 50 years of experience in food safety technology as food scientists and processing experts. We are available to consult on possible new technologies for log reduction of E. coli or other pathogens. Our Qualified Food Process Authorities can help.

You are required to file your Thermal Process with the FDA for any low acid or acidified canned food. Our recognized Process Authority, using the most advanced equipment available, can conduct Heat Distribution and Heat Penetration Studies in your facility. Dr. Falkenberg is a low acid canned food ( LACF) Authorized Representative for several processors inside and outside the state of California. We always validate for the log destruction of the pathogen(s) or organism(s) in question.

We will make processing recommendations where appropriate and will prepare the paperwork for filing for you. Most filings are completed within one week of conducting the Heat Penetration Study.
